West Ridge Assists Fairview Fire on Multi-Residential Structure Fire

(#18-1792)  Yesterday at 21:08, Department 46 was activated for a Tower assist to Department 52 (Fairview) for the reported multi-residential structure fire in the 3200 block of Georgian Court.  Deputy Chief 470 (Rosenbaum) and Tower 479 (OIC - Assistant Chief DeRosa) went en route within six minutes.  Upon arrival, the Tower Company assisted with suppression, overhaul, and ventilation.  All West Ridge personnel marked in-service, and returned back to the first due after about 90 minutes of work.

West Ridge also handled one EMS assist call (#18-1793) with the Millcreek Paramedic Service in the first due during the fire.

Currently, West Ridge has been dispatched to 1,801 alarms during CY 2018.
