Station 46 was built in 1955. Millcreek Paramedic Service also stages an EMS crew 24/7 at the station as well. The firehouse is comprised of 2 stories: the bottom level is where three apparatus bays are located, radio room, social hall with kitchen, workshop, conference room and MPS office. The upper level is where you will find the Quartermaster's room, business offices, large training room and crew lounge with shower/locker facilities. The station went under a major renovation in 2003 - 2004. The truck bay was expanded from 2 bays to 3 bays along with a new paint job and the front overhang was also added.
