Vehicle Accident/Rollover at West 26th & Peninsula Drive

On July 5th at 1048 hrs West Ridge was dispatched to West 26th & Peninsula Drive for a report of a vehicle collision with rollover. When units arrived they found a vehicle that had been involved in an accident with a tractor trailer in the intersection.  After the vehicles made contact this vehicle continued into the parking lot of Northwest Bank, striking a concrete column and rolled over.  The driver and sole occupant was being examined by MPS personnel.  Engine 474 crew cleaned up a small amount of debris and used some absorbent to contain a small amount of fluids.  The Engine Company secured when the duty wrecker removed the vehicle.  The driver was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
