The West Ridge Fire Department
is in the process of updating it's preplans for commercial businesses and
facilities in the first due district. This updating consists of
sending out a 3 page form and once the form is completed, WRFD personnel
visit the business and/or facility to conduct a walk through. During
this walk through, several items of importance are noted. These items
are construction type, floor plan layout, interior utility controls,
exterior utility controls, roof mechanics, hydrant locations, hazardous
materials, Knox Box location and any other information that is important to
know.
Please be aware that when the
Fire Department does pay a visit to your business and/or facility, they are
there to conduct an inspection. If you would like to have a formal
inspection done, please contact the Millcreek Township Bureau of Fire
Prevention at 814-833-1111.
